What is IV therapy?
IV therapy is inserting an IV catheter into a vein. The IV catheter is then connected to an IV fluid bag which contains vitamins and minerals. IV therapy is the most effective way to get vitamins and minerals into your body to help you feel better! While oral supplements are fine, only 10% get absorbed into your body, because your stomach breaks them down. Not only that, but some people can experience nausea and discomfort with oral vitamin supplements. With IV therapy, 100% of the vitamins infused get absorbed into your bloodstream, leaving you feeling more hydrated and healthier without the side effects!
Is IV therapy safe?
Yes! IV therapy is safe for most everyone depending on medical history/current medications. Our questionnaire is required for you to fill out. These questions will determine if IV therapy is safe for you to receive.
Are there any side effects?
While serious side effects are quite rare, common side effects include redness, discomfort, and/or bruising at the injection site, which will go away within an hour to a few days.
Who should not get IV infusions?

Some individuals with some medical condition may not be eligible to receive an infusion. Some conditions with the following but not limited to:

  • CHF (Congestive Heart Failure)
  • CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease)
  • Renal failure, or those on dialysis
  • Cardiomyopathy
  • Arrhythmia
  • Heart disease
  • Chronic Renal Disease
  • History of Stroke or Heart attack

Also, we will not administer an IV to any patient with abnormal vital signs or those experiencing a medical emergency. For some who take medications such as calcium channel blockers, certain heart medications, certain blood pressure medications etc., we will not administer IV therapy for risks of interatction.

For anyone under the age of 18, we will not administer an IV and recommend speaking with your child's pediatrician if they are experiencing any health issues.

Can You Get An Infusion When Pregnant or Breastfeeding/Chest Feeding?
Yes! Some pregnant individuals suffer from morning sickness and in some severe cases, Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which causes dehydration and the inability to get the nutrition you need. If you are suffering from nausea and vomiting, hydration therapy may help. Other symptoms like body aches, fatigue, and headaches can also be treated with IV infusions. We do require you to fill out forms and waivers, for your safety. Before setting an appointment, we recommend speaking with your OBGYN, to make sure you are healthy enough to receive an IV infusion. Breastfeeding/chestfeeding individuals also need extra hydration and nutrition, because many important vitamins and fluids are being transferred to your milk. IV therapy can help you feel your best! Can you get an IV infusion if you have Covid 19?
Yes! Fluids and vitamins are very important when sick. While IV infusions are not a cure for covid, fluids and vitamins can help you fight it off better, and help you feel better. Our staff will be in full PPE when working with Covid 19 patients.
Is Revive Infusion a mobile clinic?
Yes! We are 100% mobile. We have a system that sends out forms and reminders via text or email. Please disregard the get directions to the clinic. We apologize for the confusion. We come to you!
Who performs the infusion?
Every infusion is performed by licensed medical personnel such as an RN(registered nurse) or paramedic. The providers are overseen by an MD (medical doctor).
